Handpan 3D is developed and published by Zunnka ("we", "us", or "our"). We are deeply dedicated to safeguarding user privacy and adhering to the highest global data protection standards (including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and COPPA).

Handpan 3D operates on an offline-first architecture. All musical acoustic simulation, 3D interactive manipulation, and note recordings function directly within your device's isolated application sandbox.

2. Google Firebase Analytics

We integrate Google Firebase Analytics (provided by Google LLC) to collect aggregated, pseudonymous telemetry to optimize acoustic performance, instrument latency, and pedagogical features.

• Anonymous Instance IDs: Generated uniquely per application installation to correlate usage sessions without revealing real-world identity.
• Musical Interactions: Telemetry regarding scale selection, finish models, and lesson completion rates.
• Technical Specifications: Device model, OS version, locale, screen aspect ratio, and session duration.
• No Personal Profiling: We do not sell, rent, or cross-reference analytics with personal user accounts.

3. Google Firebase Crashlytics

To eliminate audio playback dropouts and diagnose runtime stability issues, we employ Google Firebase Crashlytics.

• Stack Traces: Automated logging of memory exceptions and crash call stacks.
• Device State: RAM availability, disk space, battery status, and operating system state at the time of an exception.
• Audio Engine Diagnostics: Buffer underruns and sample rate synchronization logs.
• Retention: Crash diagnostic data automatically expires under Google Cloud's data retention policies.

4. Cloudflare Global CDN & Edge Distribution

To deliver lossless studio audio samples, high-fidelity sound fonts, and instructional repertoire without inflating the initial download footprint, Handpan 3D utilizes Cloudflare, Inc. as our high-performance edge Content Delivery Network (CDN).

• Resource Delivery: Cloudflare edge nodes securely cache and deliver compressed acoustic asset bundles.
• Transmission Telemetry: Standard network request metadata (IP address, user-agent, asset URI) is processed strictly for geographic routing and DDoS security.
• No Commercial Tracking: Cloudflare does not use client requests to build advertising profiles or track users across applications.

5. Microphone & Tuner Functionality

When using the Handpan Tuner, the app requests microphone permission (RECORD_AUDIO). The microphone stream is used strictly for real-time FFT frequency detection in volatile RAM. Microphone audio is never written to persistent disk, never transmitted across the network, and immediately discarded upon frequency calculation.

6. Local Recordings Storage

When you record musical sessions, note events and audio sequences are saved exclusively to your private device storage. You retain 100% control to play, review, or delete recordings at any time.

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)

Handpan 3D is a family-safe musical application suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Union). There are no user accounts, public chat rooms, or social media feeds in the application.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Under GDPR and CCPA/CPRA, you have the right to request information about diagnostic data categories, request deletion of diagnostic instance tokens, and opt out of analytics through standard Android Google OS privacy controls.
